Meet Heather Klein, Owner, Emmy & Me Interiors, Inc.An early love of decorating and design inspired Heather Klein to pursue a career as an interior decorator. Her talents and experiences quickly steered her toward redesign and staging, the two areas on which she focused her education. Helping clients free themselves to dream continues to motivate Heather to serve and imagine with passion. Watching fresh, whimsical ideas complement the adult sense of function and form brings her great joy and a lasting sense of fulfillment. Together, Heather and her clients create home interiors that express the total self with color, beauty and lasting serenity. Heather earned her career diploma in Interior Decorating from Penn Foster Career School. Her credentials and certifications include Member of Certified Interior Stylist.org, Certified Interior Redesign and Real Estate Staging Professional, and Certified Color Specialist (Color Theory). Heather is an instructor and lecturer at area park districts and offers certification classes at Joliet Junior College in Home Staging and Interior Redesign. She also serves on the Executive Board of Directors with the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce.

A World of Meaning in a Beautiful NameThe name Emmy & Me Interiors, Inc. originated as an inspired tribute to owner Heather Klein’s first granddaughter, Emily Anne. Heather was always amazed by the joy and excitement she saw on Emily’s face when she discovered new colors, textures and objects. Because homes reflect people’s thoughts, feelings and values, Heather knew that when she started her own business, she would help clients approach home interiors as Emily would: with eager emotion and curiosity.
