Joliet Junior College

Home Staging & Interior Redesign Certification Program
This certificate program is designed to prepare entrepreneurs who are interested in the Interior Redesign and Home Staging business along with those who may want to enhance an existing Real Estate, Interior Decorating or Home Organizing Business. Students must complete 4 core classes and 3 elective classes to earn a certificate. Core classes must be completed prior to beginning elective classes.

All Classes 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. unless otherwise stated.

Class location – JJC Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Rd., Joliet

Core Classes

  • Fundamentals of Interior Redesign - 5 weeks
  • Fundamentals of Home Staging - 3 weeks
  • Photography Basics for Staging/Redesign - 4 weeks
  • Business Basics for Home Staging/ Redesign - 5 weeks

Electives – Spring 2012

  • Advanced Interior Redesign - 3 weeks
  • Advanced Home Staging - 2 weeks
  • Advanced Marketing/Networking for the Redesign/Staging Business - 3 weeks
  • Interior Redesign & Home Staging Practicum - 3 classes totaling 12 hours
